I've currently moved over to blogging at http://mathcraft.wonderhowto.com/
Here I will be posting about 4 times per week and will have a project every week with more in depth information and a how to component and templates. There will also be a user forum for people to submit pictures and ideas.
Thanks! I hope to see you there!
New Camera
I finally got an Digital SLR style camera. All I have used for the last 4 and a half years is an ultracompact. Now I have no excuses for my bad photography. I ended up buying a Panasonic GH1 since my brother had one and it would be nice to exchange lenses, plus the standard lens it comes with is pretty phenomenal. It is the same camera we used for the Doritos Superbowl Contest to make this video. Here are the first few pictures. Click on the pics for 1600 x 1200 resolution. (The originals were 4000 x 3000)

No more false humility about your "bad photography"--these photos are fantastic! And I love the tight shot of the leaf that shows off its fractal pattern. :-)
Thanks Ceilon. Honestly, the way I figure it...it took 400 pictures to find a few I liked! :)
And the one of the Jay is slightly out of focus...
But I do really like the leaf shot.
